James Thomas Sims married 21 Sept 1865 Davidson Co Tenn, to Mary Francis / Frankie Henderson born 1847 Campbell Co. Ga, died bef. 1900 Logan Co Ark     buried Horn Cem,  daughter of Samuel Jr. and Mary Stewart Henderson. The Samuel Henderson farm in Campbell Co.Ga,. was right in the path    ( Civil War)  

of a clash of blue and grey and was burned to the ground so both sides could have a better vision of the fighting field and the family escaped through the lines and was  taken over the border to Tenn. . Samuel Jr  may have lost his life fighting the civil war, there is a website with this information on it.  [  Look in my Surnames link  for Kennedy site. ]

A note I found on Rootsweb states both George Henderson Sr and Jr. are   buried in Cobbs Co.Ga ,also one of the Samuel Henderson  Sr or Jr ? might be there .
